Cherwanda McCallum, SCFSN Board President
Cherwanda is a Site Manager at Lawndale Christian Health Center in Chicago. Her leadership skills show in the amount of love her staff displays as well as patients. She ministers the Word of God to all who are in need of encouragement, advice or just to listen. During her off time she is working on her gospel album which also will minister to souls world wide in the future. Cherwanda resides with her husband and three children in Bolingbrook, IL. Cherwanda brings passion, fire and vision to our board. She is always ready for the next step and creative when it comes to problem solving.
Rosemary Parks-Goins, SCFSN Board Treasurer
Rosemary is a graduate of Keller Graduate School of Management with a dual Masters in Public Administration in Healthcare and Human Resources Management. Rosemary’s background consist of 10+ years in the Healthcare industry and now has started her career as a human resources director for a major home improvement chain. Rosemary brings her accounting skills and knowledge of family members that have the sickle cell trait. Rosemary is passionate about advocating for sickle cell by donating her time, and support that will change lives of families reached.
Michael Pratt Jr., SCFSN Board Member
Michael is our board member who knows first hand what it takes to be a parent of children with Sickle Cell. Michael and his wife have 3 boys and 2 of them have Sickle Cell disease SS. Michael and his wife are key in advising the board on how to plan out services for now and future endeavors of the SCFSN. They are the first on board in every project SCFSN takes on. Their support has kept SCFSN on track and growing.
Louisetta (Elle) Williams, CEO/Founder SCFSN
Louisetta is a pioneer at the core of SCFSN holding the hats of Executive Director, mom of a SC warrior, author, business coach. She created SCFSN out of the realization that there were no direct support services available to suppport families of children with Sickle Cell Disease. So literally sitting in the hospital by her daughter bedside she began to create SCFSN to provide support to Sickle Cell families like hers. Louisetta resides in South Elgin, IL with her daughters.
